Barrel Straightening

The jacket material is first removed to expose the damage to the barrel. Bolsters and rings are also inspected once exposed, to assess complete structural integrity.
Once in the shop, the barrel is returned to its original shape.

Lateral side supports are welded in place to provide additional re-enforcement to the previously damaged area.
Once all of the barrel work is complete, new insulation and jacket material is installed. Conspicuity is applied, and this tank is ready for work once again.
