Custom Bogie Fabrication

 Here is the original Bogie. It was a steel unit with spoke wheels and a spring suspension.
After 14 years of service it is now retired.

Meanwhile, the new bogie is fabricated and assembled out of stainless steel with stainless steel welds, and awaits testing and installation.

The tank is welded to the bogie which has a new Hendrickson Air Ride suspension. Aluminum rims and new tires dress it up nicely.

Here, the completed unit is ready for final testing and years of dependable service.
